Error Codes - The Quick & Simple Answers...
EE2 Failure to ignite:
Out of fuel, water in fuel, plugged or frozen fuel filter, bad igniter, Dirty combustion chamber, blocked air/exhaust pipes.
EE6 Failure to stay burning:
Out of fuel, water in fuel, plugged or dirty fuel strainer in heater, plugged or frozen fuel filter, dirty combustion chamber, blocked air/exhaust pipes, clogged fuel nozzle.
EE8 Combustion Fan Error:
Normally reported in Fall the first time the heater is started for the season... Remember to keep your heater ON and the CLOCK SET during summer months. Water & Fuel deposits caused corrosion in fan blower assembly, insect or water in fan assemble, bad blower motor, bad computer board (lightning damage).
EE12 Dirty Circulation Fan Filter Screen Error:
Clean the filter screen in rear of heater.
EE13 Dead Heater:
Loose conections, bad thermistor or board level failure.
EE22 Failed to Start 3 times:
When the OM22 and Laser 30 fail to start 3 times in a row the unit locks out and reports an EE22... This is because something is wrong... Out of fuel, water in fuel, bad igniter, dirty combustion chamber.
